On the Guadalupe

With the school year about to get in full swing again, my wife and I decided to take one final summer trip down to Guadalupe River State Park. When we lived in San Antonio, we’d frequent this park often. Playing cards in the tent on a rainy day, spying the bright eyes of spooky creatures in the night, and walking beside the calm flowing river were just a few of our favorite activities. The weather was perfect this past Saturday and Sunday as we aired up our tubes and floated the length of the park along the river upwards of seven times. When we weren’t relaxing in our tubes, we were in our hammocks, reading a book, or playing washers. Always a joy to visit!
