“Texas To Me”

We drink our cokes in Dublin,

canoe Colorado Bend,

hike the lighthouse through the red dirt,

in our own personal Grand Canyon.

At Matagorda Bay you’ll find us fishin’.

We love two-steppin’. We love singin’.

We’ve got pride for the lone star,

Like no other state could understand.

We hunt wild hogs on the plain,

cherish our cotton and our hay,

and whenever we get the chance,

We go tubing the river all the day.

We dance beside the water

with boots and worn out jeans

In that mid-summer evening heat.

Well, that sure feels like Texas to me.”

Have you ever taken the time to think about the outdoor adventures you’ve had?
